Technical Service Bulletins (TSB’s)

Technical Service Bulletins (TSB’s) keep you informed of manufacturer recommended servicing and maintenance work.

TSBs may provide the following Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) information (if available) for the identified vehicle:

Symptoms
Causes or Defects*
Solutions*
Repair Times
Safety Recall / Campaign Information
Parts Required

* Illustrations provided if available.

— TSBs requires that you have the current software upgrade installed, and be connected to the Internet.

— If you experience a wireless connection loss, TSB data will not refresh and/ or may cause the program to stop. To continue use, you must re-establish your Internet connection.

There are two methods to access TSBs:

Selecting the TSBs icon from the Home screen
Selecting the TSBs menu option from within a current Scanner session

Viewing TSBs (using the Home Screen icon)

From the Home screen, select TSBs

1. Identify the vehicle, by following the screen prompts to select the vehicle information (e.g. make, year, model, etc.).
2. Select OK.
3. Select a vehicle area, (e.g. Engine, Transmission, Brakes, etc)

4. Select the desired TSB. The examples shown below are of a typical TSB, describing the symptom, cause, solution, repair time, parts required, and shows an illustration of the applicable part location (not all TSBs will have this type of information).

1. From within a current Scanner session select TSBs from the System menu
