Welcome to Snap-on Training Solutions. This module is designed to help you get the most out of your SOLUS Edge diagnostic tool, and covers the use of the previous vehicle ID list and the saved data function.
SOLUS Edge Home Screen
The Previous Vehicles and Data functions help you to quickly configure the diagnostic tool to the identity of a previously tested vehicle, and to access your saved data files. From the home screen, select the Previous Vehicles and Data icon.
Previous Vehicles & Data Menu
A menu of options opens. Let’s select Vehicle History.
Previous Vehicle ID
Vehicle History
The tool saves the identification of the last twenty-five vehicles tested, so there is no need to go through the complete vehicle identification sequence when performing an after-repair test. Let’s select the Chevrolet Tahoe.
Current Vehicle Identification
Once there are twenty five vehicles saved, the oldest vehicle record is deleted when a new vehicle is identified. We can now select continue to confirm the vehicle we have chosen from the history list.
Scanner Main Menu
The menu shows us the functions available in the tool for the selected vehicle. In this example, we see the scanner main menu. Now select the back icon to return to the Vehicle History.
